TERMS & CONDITIONS

Upon booking your appointment with Alchemy Detail Co., read the terms and conditions prior to scheduling your appointment. Once an appointment has been made, you are bound under the terms and conditions herein.

 

illness REQUIREMENTS:

If you or your vehicle been exposed to any illness in the past week or two or if the threat of any harmful substances (needles, drugs, gasoline, chemicals, etc.) is in the vehicle, you must let your detail technician know prior to your detail. If your vehicle cannot be detailed once we arrive, you will still be charged the full amount of your scheduled appointment service (this includes not being present once we arrive). We appreciate your business.

INFORMATION POLICY: 

As a small auto detailing business, we take your privacy seriously. We are the sole owner of the information collected on our site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via mail or other direct contacts from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. However, we do send out bi-weekly emails and may use a third party to send emails regarding our monthly specials, which only requires your email address.

BOOKING DEPOSIT:

Alchemy Detail Co.  will require a non-refundable deposit of $50 or more, depending on the service you select, to secure your appointment. The deposit will go towards the final payment of the service. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Your detailing appointments are very important to Alchemy Detail Co. We realize that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary: therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice to reschedule. Deposits, memberships, gift cards and vouchers are non-refundable.

 

WEATHER CONDITIONS:

Alchemy Detail Co. will notify customers to reschedule appointments if the inclement weather occurs. We will reschedule for the next available day. Note: This could take up to two weeks, we will do our best to get you in accordingly.

 

NO RUSH POLICY:

At Alchemy Detail Co., our reputation is built on quality service and we will not comprise the integrity of our work by taking shortcuts. If services are not allowed the full amount of time required, that will result in inferior service and potential errors so please plan ahead and schedule accordingly. We will make our best efforts to ensure that deadlines are met, but there may be some circumstances that will require more time than initially estimated. If the original diagnosis has changed, we will keep you informed throughout the process and recommend a different course of action, if necessary.

 

APPOINTMENT TIME:

Cancellations are very costly to our small business. Of course we anticipate things like rainy days and other forces and understand that hey, "emergencies happen." Should this happen we will try to accommodate you as best we can, but we ask that you try just as hard to keep all appointments with us as we do for you. Also, given unexpected circumstances do to traffic, weather (extreme heat or rainy conditions), a previous appointment unexpectedly taking longer than planned or other unavoidable delays or circumstances we will contact you within a reasonable time in the event of any delay, from our behalf, with an approximate time of arrival OR you may chose to change your appointment to another date for your convenience, your deposit will not be affected.

 

OUR CANCELLATION POLICY IS AS FOLLOWS: 

First cancellation - customers can reschedule another appointment giving 24 hours notice of original appointment. 30 days will be given from the day of the deposit was made to make a reschedule.
 

Second cancellation - deposit and appointment are forfeited regardless of the 24 hours minimum requirements.

 

INSPECTION INSIDE & OUT:

Our team is very friendly, we allow you to do a thorough inspection of your vehicle once our team has completed the job. Should you find anything our team has missed, simply point it out to them and they will make it right. Should you fail to inspect your car or have someone else inspect your car on your behalf, Alchemy Detail Co. will not be responsible should you later find something our team has missed. Therefore, while our team is there and ready to assist, please take the time to inspect your vehicle. If something arises after the detail that was not noticed during the final walk around, you must contact us within 24 hours and, if needed Alchemy Detail Co. will schedule a touch up within 5 days.

 

PERSONAL BELONGINGS:

On the day of your appointment, please make sure all personal possessions are removed from your vehicle before time of the service. Alchemy Detail Co. will not be responsible for any damage or loss inside or outside of the vehicle.

 

PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEO:

We have your permission to take pictures or video of your vehicle for marketing purposes. These will never be sold or given to third parties.

 

ADDITIONAL CHARGES: 

Additional charges may apply due to the condition of your vehicle. We do not guarantee 100% removal of excessive pet hair, sand, pungent odors, vomit, cigarette smoke, mildew, heavy stains, heavy soil, food and drink spill or spoiled milk, etc.

PRE-EXISTING DAMAGE:

Alchemy Detail Co. is not responsible for any pre-existing damages to your vehicle. This includes, any further damage caused due to pre-existing damage as well, i.e. peeling paint being further damaged by detail equipment. It is difficult to find pre-existing damages during the initial vehicle inspection. Some vehicles tend to have components that are broken, scratched, worn out, faded, don't work or become loose and cracked without the owner's knowledge. Therefore, should an Alchemy Detail Co. representative find any items that are not working properly, worn, scratched, cracked, faded, or broken we will bring it to your attention. Dirt can hide imperfections as swirl marks, scratches, dings, dents, paint chips, fine lines, marks, cracked windshield, hard water stains and burned paint. Should we find any exterior imperfections, we will make you aware, however, Alchemy Detail Co. will not be responsible for correcting these pre-existing imperfections. Alchemy Detail Co. will also not be held responsible should we find pre-existing imperfections during our normal course of detailing that were not made aware of. If you know you know your vehicle has pre-existing damage, let us know prior to us beginning your appointment.

 

PROPERTY DAMAGE:

Each customer agrees not to hold Alchemy Detail Co., its owners, employees, and affiliates liable for any damage, loss, expense, cost, claim, or liability (including attorney's fees) arising from Alchemy Detail Co.'s mobile services, including, but not limited to, any property damage that may occur to the customer's property or the property of a neighbor. The customer acknowledges that the unique mobile nature of Alchemy Detail Co.'s business may involve a greater risk of property damage and expressly assumes such risk.

 

Mechanical, electrical and electronic components: 

Alchemy Detail Co. is not liable or responsible for malfunction or breakage of any of the vehicle's mechanical/electrical/electronic/components. We do not interfere with vehicles more than the minimum required amount of use to ensure we perform our job.

 

RIGHT TO REFUSE:

Alchemy Detail Co. reserves the right to refuse or deny any booking or continue with our service if we deem the customer to be unreasonable. Alchemy Detail Co. reserves the right to refuse or deny customers demands that are above and or beyond the booked detailing service.
